Overseas Dental Implants

Dental implants act as artificial roots. They are surgically placed into your jaw, and are the closest substitute to natural teeth in form and function. Once a dental implant is firmly integrated into your jaw, it can be used to support single crowns, bridges and dentures.

Teeth Whitening

BriteSmile is a revolutionary teeth whitening treatment that uses patented technology to speed up the whitening process and deliver whiter teeth in just 90 minutes. In clinical studies, BriteSmile has achieved an average of eight shades whiter and even higher for those with darker teeth

Your BriteSmile should last about 2 to 3 years but the long-term results depend on certain habits, like the use of tobacco products, drinking a lot of coffee, tea, red wine and dark soft drinks. It’s also important to have regular checkups with your dentist for standard cleanings.

Veeners

Porcelain veneers create a very life-like tooth appearance. Porcelain veneers, alternatively termed dental veneers or dental porcelain laminates, are wafer thin shells of porcelain that are bonded onto the front side of teeth so to create a cosmetic improvement for a tooth. Porcelain veneers are used by dentists as a way to make cosmetic changes for teeth that are discoloured, worn, chipped or misaligned.

Porcelain veneer technique is on offshoot of the basic science of cosmetic dental bonding. Porcelain veneer technique utilises the bonding capability of these materials to securely attach a thin shell of porcelain (the porcelain veneer) to a tooth. Although porcelain is inherently brittle, when it is firmly bonded to a study substructure (a tooth) it becomes very strong and durable.

Orthopantogram (OPG X-ray) is required.
An Orthopantomogram or OPG, is a special type of x-ray looking at the lower face that displays both the upper and lower teeth in a long flat line.

It demonstrates the number, position and growth of all your teeth including those that have not yet surfaced. Your current dentist should have this on file.

Our specialist in Thailand will need your OPG X-ray to be able to determine what treatment and procedure is needed. They will not be able to provide a quotation without seeing this X-ray.

If you have not had an OPG X-ray done before, you will need a referral from your GP, however, there should be no cost involved as basic X-rays are Bulk Billed.

Please you have your OPG X-ray when booking your procedure.

Crown

A dental crown is a tooth-shaped ‘cap’ that is placed over a tooth covering the tooth to restore its shape and size, strength, and/or to improve its appearance.

A dental crown may be needed to protect a weak tooth from breaking, to restore an already broken tooth, to cover and support a tooth with a large filling. To hold a dental bridge in place that covers misshaped or severely discoloured teeth or to cover a dental implant.

Porcelain-fused-to-metal dental crowns can be colour matched to your adjacent teeth. However, more wear to the opposing teeth occurs with this crown type compare to resin or metel crowns. These crowns can be a good choice for front or back teeth.

All-Porcelain dental crowns provide the best natural colour match. However, they are not as strong as porcelain-fused-to-metal crowns.
All ceramic crowns are a good choice for front teeth.
